Spinal Cord Injury • Stroke • Neurological Recovery
Functional integrated therapy that helps people with paralysis rebuild strength, independence, and hope.
Founders Dan Dumas and Lance Hansen know first hand what it takes to overcome a prognosis of minimal return and regain independence. With a dedicated staff and state-of-the-art equipment, we provide activity-based therapy to those looking to go above and beyond traditional rehabilitation.
SCI-FIT operates from six locations across California and Arizona, equipped with specialized apparatus and supportive instructors who accompany you on your path to recovery.
Who We Help"Many individuals are likely able to recover motor control over time because of neuroplasticity — the body’s ability to re-learn and make use of the remaining nerve pathways."
With the use of specific modalities such as weight-bearing exercises and developmental movement patterns, we work to improve your abilities, balance, and coordination, setting the stage for the best possible outcome.
Our proven protocols help stroke survivors rebuild walking ability, arm strength, range of motion, hand mobility, and more through dedicated one-on-one training sessions.
From Parkinson's to MS, traumatic brain injury to cerebral palsy, individualized programs focus on functional ability, community support, and the emotional benefits of active recovery.
Don't let financial concerns prevent rehabilitation. We offer assistance options and help navigate funding sources like NorCal SCI, Be Perfect Foundation, and Chanda Center for Health.
Repetition and thoughtful movement builds strength and aids in recovery. Our evidence-based approach delivers measurable improvements across multiple dimensions of health.
Increased muscular strength
Increased flexibility
Improved circulation
Postural improvements
Bone density maintenance
Motor function potential
Reduced pain & depression
Reduced spasms
All locations offer the same services and specialized equipment. Our Dublin location also offers Physical Therapy sessions with a licensed Physical Therapist.
